Has anyone ever had slightly sore legs after a shroom trip?
Do you need to drink lots of water, or just whenever you feel like it?

i have sore legs after acid trippin and after smokin lots of weed, and i dont drink water at all during an acid trip, usually orange juice or something of the like whenever i get thirsty. tastes a lot better to me (if i can even use the word "taste")

Sure, but there were other factors involved--like taking a 12 mile hike or dancing for 3 hours!
One should drink plenty of water when engaging in either of those activities.

last summer i would make tea alot, never happend to me when i eat them, and for some reason while tripping and a few hours afterwaards i would get a soreness in the groind muscles of my legs but i would only notice it when i would walk.some other people had the same effect to.one of the people i was tripping with was a total pussy and crawled around on the floor cause he said his legs hurt to much to walk.it was funny as hell.

yup all the time with acid and sometimes with mushrooms especially about 3 hrs after peak. i think its unconscious muscle tension over the duration, its led to some times where it hurt my back and legs to get up, almost painful. it passes and this is a good time for everyone to have a post trip massage. yoga has helped greatly, so has robaxacet. ghb works very well but i wont recommend mixing it and any back Rx.

I reckon it is much better to go and burn it all out while engaged in some actvity. You will feel heaps better during and after the trip.

ah the good ole chemical we know as acid has been extremely abundant in my part of the world lately. though i have never had a problem with sore legs or the like, my friends are forever complaining the next day of sore legs, joints, and whatnot eventhough the bulk of our trips are sitting around and shooting the shit.

i have had bouts with what i would call sciatica down from hip to the knee area a few times, it was almost unbearable. this topic has been discussed in depth here but everything i read was open ended. i have to believe it is muscle tension of some sort. think about how tight you grind your teeth at the end of a trip when your laying in bed trying to fall asleep. my jaw is tighter than a bear trap. muscle tension of some sort for sure.

One time I tripped, I was just lying on my bed listening to music, but I was constantly being pushed around by some unknown force, so I was pushing against it. I wasn't actually moving at all, but my muscle contracted as if I were, so afterwards, my whole body was quite sore.

Last friday, my friend and I ingested 4g in tea. During his peak he was lying on the ground screaming in pain that his legs hurt, and that it was unbearable. He was on the floor because the pain started when he tried to walk, and he just fell on the floor. After that he went into a bad trip, screaming, punching walls, yelling "Rage! The only emotion I feel is RAGE!!" and stuff. I wonder what causes this leg pain?

ya its an odd phenomenon that i would normally believe to be psychosomatic, but i remember feeling the pain in my legs on my first trip before i even heard of other people complaining about the same thing. but you know whats weird is how it happens on both acid AND shrooms...and theyre almost completely different substances! my best guess is that you stretch your body parts on the trip without noticing it at first.
actually i have no fucking clue, somebody should really look into this. any doctors here?

I have had monster cramps in the back of the calves in my legs after a couple of quality acid sessions. Water is probably a good idea, but for some strange reason it just never occurs to me at the time!

It may be that with muscle tension or contraction our muscles produce lactic acid as a waste product that makes our muscles sore (like after not working out for a long time and then doing a hard workout, the next day you feel as if your arms will fall off.)lol
I have a friend that broke his neck in an accident a long time ago that says he hurts in his neck area when he does mushies or acid.

after my shroom trip on friday, i learned that it must be psychosomatic cuz i only felt it if i thought about it and itd feel sore, but if i didnt think about it, it went away :)

yeah thats the cool thing about tripping. If you are cold you can convince yourself that it feels good to be cold, and then you will feel warm. Your mind has control over your body. When I get sore or something I just question it in my mind, and it usually goes away. Just think in your mind "things could be worse".
