a friend was wandering if one could use a large soup pot to steam 1/2 pint jars of pf substrate if the jars are stacked.If so is time increased.this would save time as 24 jars fit in the pot stacked.also when stacking in a pressure cooker does time or psi increase from 25 min. 12 psi? all answers are very greatly appreciated

Steaming is fine for certain substrates, such as... Manure or compost, without jars.
As far as steming jars goes, altough I have never done it, I think Boiling the jars would work better. Stacking jars--- it is not reccomended that you stack the jars-that is MY reccomendation.
