mycelium fruiting
    #321784 - 05/20/01 05:52 PM (21 years, 2 months ago)

on a recent post it was decided that in a csing when one part of the mycelium reaches the top and is exposed to light, the whole network would start fruiting rather than just the light exposed bit - doesn't this mean that some fruits will be produced and form on the under side of the mycelium layer ina acsing and therefore rot?

Unless you`ve cased in a clear container, only the top will pin. This is what makes cake pans invaluable.
