Movies that really relate to you?

I just finished watching 'SLC Punk' again tonight. This movie always grabs me for a couple reasons. I lived in Salt Lake City until the age of 12. And even after moving away I went back many times in the 80's for visits. And in the 80's I was a punker. This was in the days before Punk Rock was "cool". I went to many punk shows (some in SLC) in those days and I am reminded of my own youth everytime I watch this movie.
And one line in this movie always makes me smile because it rings so true.... "If the guy I was then met the guy I am now...I'd kick the shit outta me!"

LOVE IT.....
I dont' know what movies I identify with strongly. I guess American Beauty has been one, just because the main theme is just to let go and appreciate the "little things".
Fight Club affected me greatly, but in a nihlistic way.
There's a bunch of beauties out there.

..I never was a big rebel, but I can relate, I used to live in mormon central, Kaysville, Utah ...it sucked going to Davis High..most of the fuckers there were Cowboys and molly ass mormons..I hung out with the stoner/rockers...I was a teenager during when "Guns N' Roses" just got popular..I hated bands like Winger, Poison...I don't think peeps in SLC had it that bad compared to where I lived..or still live..about the same area...BTW that movie kicked ass!!

Yeah, but you get the nice powder come winter time, so I don't want to hear shit out of your mouth.
What mountain do you ride/ski?

OH HOLY SHIT..........MOTHER FUCKER...........
OK
save up like 50 bucks, most moutains, especially where you live, will have like "50 bucks to learn to ride" days. Do that, just take a day, and learn how to do it. Then, when HUGE storm comes through, go to the mountain.
Powder days are better, or maybe comparable to GREAT SEX....... no joke.

Damn man, that fucking sucks. Its just weird because you are in Powder Paradise.
Best of luck with your studies, yes, they are more important than skiing, just not by much.

Pussy is way overrated compared to a fresh powder day, honestly.
I can jerk off and it feels about as good as most sex I've had, I can't do anything that mimics the BEST powder days I've had, just relaying real life experiences.

The Matrix relates to me because it is about mind over matter and against Authority.

Is Blow a bad movie to relate to? Oh well, maybe I don't really relate to it, but I like to live like him n' Tuna did in Cali.

Pussy is way overrated compared to a lot of shit. I would rather be driving my car or playing my guitar. I could finger my guitar all night anyway I want and it's never going to complain, and in fact the longer I finger it the better it seems to sound to me, I can't say the same for my girlfriend.
Plus if I decide I want a joint instead of gas for my car, my car doesn't bitch, it's always that over-rated pussy that is in my ear about shit.
The way I see it is that pussy isn't hard to get as long as you don't try or don't act interested... all it is is one big mind fuck. I always have more girls hitting on me when I'm with a girl than if I'm single..

After a day of plowing through waist deep freshies, the only comfort you'll need is your head hitting the pillow.

Loving you no matter what? Uhhh..... keep on dreaming bud, either that or time to order a russian bride and shackle her to your bed.

That's why you go skiing, bring pot, find a hot chick on the mountain, ask if she wants to join you for a toke and ride (btw, riding high is SOOOOOOO nice, damn, so nice) and find your match.
Yes, its a weeeee bit expesive, but I'm telling you, when you get that powder day, you'll understand.

Good Will Hunting really hit me hard as did the Shawshank Redemption.
And you can ski at Alta for free on the rope tow....that is a great asset for beginners, and then it's around $30 for a day pass. Not bad for one of the best mountains in the world!
