I have a question, can you colonize a new batch of PF style jars by cutting mycelium from a fruited casing and incubating?? Or is the mycelium shot after fruiting.

It will work... but make sure you have a sfae way to open the jars without introducing contams. Flowhood or glovebox etc.....Maybe oven tek but I wouldn't recommend it for this.

No. Don't waste your time--you'll get contams. I can't even picture how you would go about doing that.

Like I said with a flow hood or glove box. Not a waste of time at all.

To make PF jars? I just don't see it happening. Entirely too much work for the risk, IMO.
