Any dub recommendations?

Never heard much dub, so I'm interested in some good old classic dub recommendations. Also, if you know any "modern" dub, kinda like OTT or Kruder & Dorfmeister, then please give me some pointers

Stefan, that's just about the dub I've been exposed to too.. Both great albums. You should check out "Kruder&Dorfmeister sessions", two cd's where the second cd is very dubby.
Schmektron, thanks.. I'll check it out.

i used to have a nice collection of dub.. one oler mix that i remember is rabbit in the moon..i had that first volume. the track of orbital - 'are we here' stands out pretty distinctly in my brain. that track seemed to show up alot while tripping.. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/det...nce&s=music that's an OLD cd though..i think they have another volume out. there's all kinds of dub though.. i think reggae has alot more dub out there than any other. is there a specific genre you like that's dubbed? http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/clipserve/B00002JXCU001001/0/102-5560109-9672120 maybe check the samples in this link...

here's a different kind of compilation of remixes.. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/det...nce&s=music
that's another cd i used to have. i was just browsing around and came upon these old cds i used to have. i was listening to the the samples and it's crazy...brings back alot of old memories of tripping.
we used to let these tracks play in the background and it's kind of like they become the soundtrack of your life at the time or something. it's nuts..

granted, they're all pretty outdated. LoL but i guess it gives you some variety to think about instead of just reggae table cuts and switches. there's all sorts of dub out there.

You know, you're right. But dub isn't really new. A lot of the older artists used dub effects. The dub now is just really a lot crazier, more tuned towards the "enhanced" mind.
And oh yeah, check out www.badbrainsdub.com

Ott-Hallucinogen In Dub let's call it ott's hallucinogen remixes is what that album is -- some good psydub; ott makes it very well like friends said you may also try v.a. album 'Talisman' from interchill records, lotsa good dubby in that album and as more organic dub; i would say go for augustus pablo and king tubby very talented artists

King Tubby is king, but where is Augustus Pablo in this thread?
Dub is the musical translation of the psychadelic marijuana experience. We all owe King Tubby, Lee Perry, and Augustus.
Soldier Red is my favorite modern dub architect. I make dub too. BsOcC
