PF-TEK Cakes - Can I shake at 50% colonization?

Is it ok to shake a PF-Tek jar that is over 50% colonized?

I have one that is around 90% colonized, and I think I will just flip that one upside down to colonize the bottom, but there are a few that are 70% and these are the ones I want to shake to get the colonization speeding along.  Is this acceptable, or will it mess up the dry verm layer and get the whole thing contaminated?

I also have some that are around 40 - 50% colonized, are these ok to shake if the others are?

exactly. pf jars are not meant to be shaken, the extra room should be taken up by the dry verm layer. grains like wbs and rye can be shaken...
