Dark stems?

Afoaf harvested his first flush ever a couple days ago. Three rice/verm cakes were cased between verm and 50/50+. He harvested 10 beautiful Amazionain shrooms that measured about 8 inches with 2 and a half to 3 inch caps. He was so very excited, and wishes to thank this forum for his success. His question is this.... The second flush is growing as we speak and the stems are much darker... well actually the entire shrooms are much darker. They are smaller (as to be expected) but whats up with the darker color? There are also a couple of "siamese twins" very twisted stems and what looks like should be two caps joined into one. They are very strange looking and different from the first flush. Is this normal? Or is something wrong?

yes it's normal I useally get strange one on 2nd flush and third
I have had all shapes sizes and strange ones my most recent was an acadian strain the 3rd flush gave me a group of mushrooms that had 3 in. caps and the stems were about as big around as a lady's little finger and the length was 9-10 in. the mushies fell over from the weight of the caps
