Hey did any one go to the Incubus concert in Tampa, Fl on thurs. I was with a bunch of somewhat sober friends while i opted for some mushies. Great time to, but its so interesting. I was admireing the shapes on the floor, while in the pause between the opening act and the show, when i look up, tripping balls to see a girl being walked over to a chair next to me, pass out cold. Very interesting feelings, almost as if i should be the one on the floor, untill i remember, having you stomach pumped sucks, even more so when on 50 gramms wet shrooms.

I liked incubus a lot more when science came out. That was their best cd. After that it was all downhill

Not necessarily downhill, but different.
I really enjoy old incubus. I can still listen to newer incubus and enjoy it, but my preference is definitely towards the older stuff.

I'm preferential to SCIENCE as well.. Make Yourself was a great album, too.. and Morning View. when they lost their original bassist i felt like they were moving in a bad direction.. but they still rock.

i was actually at the show in Orlando, FL on the 29th. Wednesday.
i enjoyed the experience and thought Incubus played well though they seemed tired, to me.
for all those who are SCIENCE fans, they actually played a couple songs from that album:
Idiot Box and Anti-Gravity, are the only ones that stick out in my mind at the moment.
I cant seem to get pictures to work... a weird problem. it wont let me post this reply with a picture, so im supplying a link to a picture of the Incubus Concert, on 9/29/04

yeah, a lot of people prefer SCIENCE to the other albums. It's a great album of theirs too. But I think each of the albums has their different qualities that make them great.

I just bought an Incubus album called "Fungus Amongus". Suposedly it's their first recording session. It's pretty tripped out and It's alot harder then alot of their newer stuff.

"Drive" is on Make Yourself, which is my fav. That's the first album I got of theirs, so there's your reason

Morning View is a street in malibu right near my house where they were staying for recording ... the album is probably so overly relaxed because everybody who lives in malibu is as laid back as can be

being laidback is the shit. a couple of my friends are obsessed with incubus. and i had a few friends about 3-4 years ago that were for the band. i was a self-proclaimed fan but they've been pretty unknown and minor for me. i went through a hate phase with them actually. anti-teenybopper type shit, i classified bands way too easily.
but now that i have rhapsody and cable i'm going to check out their songs. which song is probably thee best? not the most popular all the time but the best? one that your soul connects with type shit.

just go through the albums from the early stuff onward and find it for yourself, cus everyone's fav is different and you'll be no exception. i think you'll probably like the earlier albums though, because with each album they grow more popular. you shouldn't judge music that way though, if you do.
