ok here is what I plan to do: I have 250 ml malt agar on bottle, I follow the procedure on the bottle and puts it into boiling water so it turns liquid. I pour this over into petri dish(es) wich I have sterilized in the pressure cooker. I have one print of the specie I want to grow (Psilocybe Mexicana) Is one print enough for lets say 10 petri dishes? If I only scrape a little in each? Should I just take the spores directly on the agar when its cooled down? or should I put them in before the agar turns more gel like again? Then I wrap the petri dishes in plastic wrap and put them in a petridish rack. Should I just put this rack into the incubater (tub in tub incubator) in same conditions as I have my jars?

it puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets.... you need to sterilize the media after it's combined, add it to cold water and pressure cook it for 15-20 minutes

if you have Polycarbonage or glass petris then you can sterilize them, if they are polystyrene then they will melt... it should say in the package what type they are you can innoculate 20-30 petris with a small spore print (a 1" print) wait for the agar to cool and gel before putting the spores on the agar use glad cling wrap for for its breathability and then you can incubate it just as you would your jars

I have glass dishes
The bottles say they are sterile and ready for use on sterile petri dishes. A friend working on some lab got them for me.

The petri dishes may be sterile, but your agar isn't if it has been exposed to the air.
