My brand spakin' new choco set-up! Pics.
    #3208340 - 10/02/04 11:23 PM (12 years, 2 months ago)

Okay, first off, you bastards, YES I FUCKING CLEANED THIS SHIT WELL.  Chocolate just makes it look messy.  Sort of like poo.

Anyway, I'm so proud of how things worked out, I had to post some pics.  Man, this was an involved crafty project for me.  Had to use a press drill, chisel, hammer, ad nauseum.
Anyway, so now, I can use 680g of baker's chocolate per 25g mushy powder = 12 chocos!  Hooray!    And the dosage is totally even throughout!  Man, I am too cool.  Sorry.  I was eating some choco bits left over on the mold and it's sort of kicking in.

looks like good work. do you grease the sides so the chocolates slide out easier? and is your bakers chocolate bitter, or did you get the sweetened kind?

Please bear with.  We are doing okay!

Hmmm, no, it was actually Almond Bark.  My bad.  I was being a dumbass.
No, actually, I janked this all together from a mold kit I found in a secondhand store.  I wanted to spread things out evenly, so I boiled the partitions first, so they'd stay warm.  After everything cooled, I used an exacto to cut them out so they're neat (more or less).
Anyway, so now I have presents that are nice and tidy for my BFFs!  Oh boy!

avoid exposing the shrooms to heat as much as possible, i reccoment appling them in honey, they will keep better and make an interesting flavour
also, you ought to make it into filberts, with dark chocolait

Notapillow: OKay.  Nevermind then.  Cool is as cool does.

Mitchmast:  Yeah, I read some bits on hippie3's advice on temps.  The only heat was the melted choco, that was done on a double boiler.  It's cool, mang.  THanks for the advice!  I can vouch that this shit hasn't lost much potency.  I love poo!

I have a question since I am starting to make alot of choco's myself, how can you be sure that the dose is evenly distributed? I'm always worried that it won't be right

Cracker dry fruits.  THen break 'em up a bit.  Toss in a coffee grinder.  Powder _very_ well.  Then mix powder into the melting choco in the double boiler bowl.  Mix well with a spoon.  It's almost impossible, after a minute or two of stirring, not to have a nearly even distribution.  Liquidy choco + powdered 'shrooms = even love.
