nono.... you can buy bags of stuff at meijer or where ever called Seed Starter. Its a mix of stuff.... People add coir to it (no ratio, but a good amount) Myc rips thru it.

Or just use coir and verm--simple yet effective...search for more info

I'll have to give that a try. If I can't find it then what would be my next solution? I'm trying to stay away from vermiculite for some reason, I'm wanting to try something different and see if I get better yields from it

well I have 2 bags of vermiculite, 1 bag of perlite, and 100 filtered bags that are on mycosupply.com. I've been wasting my money because I keep changing the teks that I am going to use, but in the long run I will have everything that I need for any tek I try out.

can any casing tek be used with WBS?

I'm going to try both, Seed starter and Verm/Coir 60/40 and see what does best, I'll be making a grow log and I'll be sure to mention how they competed with each other.

Pretty much. Rye and WBS are the standard casing grains.
