    #3204877 - 10/01/04 08:53 PM (12 years, 2 months ago)

I am trying to find out all I need to know about straw and poo, as in what to do with the poo when I get it, does horse poo still need to be mixed with straw?
Can anyone send me a good link ? :mushroom2:

Aged horse poo works best (1yr.) Since I can't access the FAQ again heres all the Straw Teks you could ever ask for! Yes you may have to register but well worth it! Well looks like you got more info than poo going on now!!! LOL

Holy poo links Hyphae!! Tank you for the great link!
I have my first casing experiment going now! I started it 3 days ago. I used a wet bottam layer of vermiculite, then I took some PF cakes that flushed 2 times and soaked them and crumbled them up very well over the bottom layer. Then I took a top layer of 50/50 verm coir and covered the crumbled cakes and put it in my water incubator.
I looked at it today and had several spots of mycelem growing through the top! So I patched over them and put it back in my incubator. Hopefully will turn into a nice "Z" flush!!
