Honey Water and Spore Prints?

In all the honey water teks that i have seen they all seem to use spore syringes to get the mix started. My question is could a person scrape off a little bit of a spore print off into the sterilized honey water mix and it work? Also just curious as how long anybody has ever sucesfully kept honey water?

Honey water can be inoculated with spores from a print but, any way you do it, honey water is extremely prone to contams.

Right now i'm using a honey+water mixture allready containing a P.Cubensis Colombian strain mycellium growing inside, the jar is incubating on a heating pad at 32?c since last thursday, today i'll tranfer all the honeywater to a sterilized bird seed mixrure on a bigger 1/2 pint jar.
I have to say that cristalizing the honey with a high diferential in temps. (rapidally hot to cold and then cold to hot) besides helping to free the mixture from contams also creates a richer material for spores to agregate. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

So do u guys think it is even worth the trouble or would i be better to just buy syringes from other vendors?

is it just me or is this the stupidest thing you have ever heard if you dont have enought common scence to figure out on your own that all a fucking syringe is is a print in water man just worry about passing jr. high and come back to cultavating in a few years when you know how to wipe your own ass
