you dont need verm if your using popcorn,or any grain for that matter.
when its time to case use straw or poo,or both,or high mountain compost,ect...

Butternut squash are softer than acorn or other types of squash, which makes them easier to cut and prepare.

i think hes talking about using the verm for casing man. if you are you could use strait coco coir case jsut like you would using coir and verm just use all coir instead. i use only like 25% verm in my casing layer so im sure just coir will work for you. i think you could also try strait peat but that would require a ph buffer so your probably better of with strait coir IMO. experiment and see what works for you. oh gl and welcome to the shroomery.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.
*note to any one reading my posts. any post pretaing to the cultivation of illegal psilocybe mushrooms are completely fictional. im a known pathological liar.
