Looks like you found some mushrooms, good job!

But if you want a real ID, read the forum rules.

Dreaming of that face again.
It's bright and blue and shimmering.
Grinning wide
And comforting me with its three warm and wild eyes.

On my back and tumbling
Down that hole and back again
Rising up
And wiping the webs and the dew from my withered eye.

We need this:

It is critical that you describe mushrooms fully and accurately in order to get a proper identification.

A good picture of the mushrooms is invaluable.

Along with the pictures (if possible), please include the following:

a. Habitat (where [state/province/country] and what does it grow on)
b. Characteristics of the gills (color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc)
c. Measurements of cap and stem.
d. Characteristics of the stem (color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc)
e. Characteristics of the cap (color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc)
f. Spore print color (very important!)
g. Color that the mushroom bruises
h. Scent of mushroom

For more detailed guidelines for describing your finds, please view this document.

For an explanation of mycological terms please refer to this document .

you'll be lucky to find a sub that bruises blue.
Possibly a bit at the base of the stem, where some mycelium is attached. But that's probably all, if any blueing that you'll see.

I picked some subbs last week that turned 50% blue...like I'm talking blotches on cap and stem and what not. Very odd only batched I've picked all season that did that, the rest has been on base of mushroom.
