i went to wal mart, homedepot and still no vermiculite. were do you guys get this shit from?

I got mine at Home Depot, they have the perfect grade too. Maybe they were temporarly out, you should of asked

leu u got yours from homedepot the guy in the garden center told my they dont sell it any more i wonder if they will order some for me if i ask?

They should, It was about three weeks ago that I got it and they had plenty more. Try www.homedepot.com and see if they will send you some, (goto the search). Im trying to figure out if they do or not but their site is being jewish.

i was just on the homedepot site and the only thing that will come up under search is some bullshit articuls. i went and searched on aol and found a few places that will ship it but dam i really dont want to have to do that i used to do pf jars all the time and i never had any problems finding it . i am all most thinking about trying to fruit some 1/2 pintjars of wbs pf style any one ever try this?

by the way castanza i tryed typing in vermiculite on that yellow pages web site and not a thing. dam it can be a pain trying to find shit some times thanks any way.

yes... they work better with verm mixed in

try "hardware"...or maybe "garden"....not too many people deal only in verm...

There has to be some garden stores where you live, even Mom and Pop garden stores would have it, try searching for nurseries in the yellow pages.

castanza u every try wbs cakes with out the verm if have witch i am sure u have as i see u said they work better with verm what was the negative effects of not useing vermiculite mixed in with the wbs? the one that makes me think twice about the wbs cakes is i would think they mite not hold as much water

ya, they tend to dry up they work best if you give them a good roll and spray...keep misting them *lightly* every day too even in the pmp kramer tried setting them directly on the perlite ...but they get kinda waterlogged that way ... maybe set them on the perlite for 3 days per flush?....dunno just guessing....

Wally world worked for me. There is always around 30 bags of it when I go in there. I also found it at both Home Depots around here and a Busy Beaver.
