Peroxide in your culture/grow medium...

I stumbled upon this website... http://members.aol.com/PeroxyMan/
I am not exactly sure of the exact method, but it is unpatented, and seems that you can draw most of what you need from the "SlideShow" link. and other links.
Personally, My contamination tip is this...
When collecting mushrooms, where permitted, cover the mushroom with a bucket, or large glass jar. Then soak a coton-ball in rubbing alcohol and throw it inside the edge of the container. This will kill all the little bugs that are living inside the gills, most will fall/crawl out, in an attempt to get away. The mushroom will also get fume condensation on it, lightly sterrilizing it, and killing those internal bugs and contaminations.
I do the same thing when getting my spore prints, except I use a Q-Tip that is cut in half, and has the stick bent like an "Easter Egg" holder that is used to dip eggs in colorant, with the head sticking up in the air. I dip the head in alcohol and squeeze excess moisture out of the head, so that it doesn't drip onto the spore print.
I also dip my paper in alcohol, and let it dry in a farberware glass dish over an oven burner, use a wire seporator between the burner and the glass, the burner can grab the hot glass and shatter it as the burner expands... any cookie grill or tray should work. and only use "LOW" for the settings... alcohol can ignite if the heat is high!
I have some spore losses, but not due to contamination, which can make you loose all the spores, growth.
NOTE : Do not do this with a mushroom that you plan to eat! You can't be sure that all of the alcohol will evaporate from the cap.
One more tip, If you spore print on paper, you can freeze the paper in a ziplock bag for a long time... then use a paper hole-punch to knock out what you need. If you don't like bleached paper, use "Unbleached Natural Coffie Filters" as your spore-print medium.
You can even use tape to help seal them in, so no spores stick to the bag... the spores will grow through the paper when the time comes, and you can dope the paper with nutrients to speed up the process.
Also, place your caps on a toothpick frame... Like this "#". Don't place it directly on the spore collecting medium "Paper/Plastic/Glass". This will reduce cap contamination that would normally be collected into your spore culture.

I also found that site cause I plan on adding that to a hydro resivoir to give the root more 02, but also keep contamination down. I put alot of the peroxide in my terranium using the perlite method, and have had no problems other than a huge growth of mycelium (at first thought it was cobweb) just days after putting in the cakes. I cant get them to fruit though, do you think this is a problem with no fruiting after 7 days? I do not even have pins yet.

-------------------- "Rubbermaid" is a curious purely fictional character and does not exist, and would never do anything illegal.

Rubbermaid; You can feel free to make your very own thread It's fun!
In the other thread you posted these links, I commented that the last pic is a definite pitch-er.
For better/more responses, making your own thread is the way to go.
