bush's demeanor is panicky and it's clear he's on the defensive. he's a terrible public speaker. kerry's got it down pretty well. i think that this debate's gonna help kerry and hurt bush.

bush is looking like a complete mental midget but he's got that fundamentalist fervor going that really gets the godhumpers riled up. unfortunately the godhumpers are actually a large pecentage of voting americans.

What it really comes down to is you need to either play a Bush drinking game, or a Kerry drinking game. Everytime Bush mentions hope, optimism or anything of that sort you take a shot. Everytime Kerry mentions Vietnam or agreeing with the president, you take a shot.

I have not even watched a second of the debate and it is 9:40 pm. There are several reasons I am not watching:
1. Bush and Kerry aren't good candidates(I am voting for someone else). 2. This "debate" is going to be scripted for the most part. 3. They aren't going to say anything of substance. 4. I get literally sick to my stomach watching Bush attempt to speak and articulate a rational argument. It embarrasses me that a person who is at times so incoherent and seemingly lost is the president of the U.S. I think that the head of the executive branch of the federal government should be very very articulate and smart (much smarter than I am). Someone who can't speak doesn't seem smart to me.

Bush is wearing a Hawiaan shirt. Kerry is wearing a tye-died shirt. Bush is sipping a martini. Kerry is doing a line of coke. They seem to be pretty fucked up.

"The President always has the right to preemptive strike." -John Kerry
It's fine to say one candidate is doing better than the other(I do believe Kerry is doing a bit better thus far) but it's borderline disgusting to see you fawning over Kerry. He is just as horrible for this country as Bush is. Please wake up; four years of Kerry is going to be the same exact shit.

So would you say that Kerry is shooting Bush down like an unarmed Vietnamese boy?
-------------------- To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.' Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence. Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains. Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

In terms of composure and ability to answer questions, Kerry is destroying Bush! I can't imagine anyone calling this in Bush's favor.
