I want to go by that tek, but it's not so clear, maybe it's just me because I'm a noob and don't know how to add my own steps, but, common sense guessing tells me that you do this.. I'm going to skip over the prior steps until you see all of the pics down the page without descriptions,
you mix the colonized jar with a tub full of dry bird seed - can I add only 1 jar to a tub like that? or is there a ratio I need to follow?
do I need to use anything for humidification?

Yep, just follow the pics. Soak, rinse, drain, load jars, pc, etc. Ask if you need more help.

I take it you already have some colonized jars. You don't add those colonized jars to dry WBS. You can do up some more jars and you can transfer some colonized WBS to the new jars. Does that help ?

yes that is what I'll be doing. I'm a first time grower and I'm wanting to do a method that is done in a tub, either rye or wbs tek, no pf-teks unless the method is same as the wbs tek, meaning... fully colonizing the cakes and putting layer of something on bottom, emptying cakes on that, and (possibly) putting the same substance used on bottom for over the cakes so it would be sandwiched, the reason I said all of that is because I also want to be told what would be simplest way for me to grow. the WBS tek is easier than the pf-tek I have learned and that is why I want to do the wbs-tek. not to mention I favor tub fruiting methods..

all of this really confuses me because there are so many details left out in the tek. It's stressing me out like I feel like I don't know what to do. can anyone clear everything up for me? maybe refer me to a good tek with nothing leftout? I would sure appreciate it.. sorry about needing so much from you guys but I am only a newbie.

Then I would recommend doing some WBS jars. You can put damp vermiculite in the bottom of the tub. Spread colonized WBS over damp vermiculite. Cover colonized WBS with a 50/50 coir/verm mixture. Bottom verm layer should be 1", WBS layer should be 1-2", and top coir/verm layer should be 1/2-3/4". There are plenty of teks to look at. I suggest reading all you can before you do anything.

please post a transfer tek bro
hell i cant find it even under the search engine under transfer or grain to grain so post it if you know it! Also a good question at this point would be to ask when you wanna do a transfer can you open the lids on your fully colonized jars? How many times? And what risks does this pose for the cake? Can it now ward off contam once fully colonized? Any answers appreciated!!!!! And it makes a nice edition to the thread!

Grain to Grain transfer tek: http://www.shroomery.org/index/the/default/par/24330
A fully colonized cake is able to fight off contams pretty well. You still want to work fast and clean. It's best if done with a glove box or in front of a hepa filter.

at that time, when those processes are complete. can I inject more spores at that point? since it will be recolonizing? I'm thinking of squirting only .1cc everywhere I can, with 2 inches inbetween each innoculated point.

one more thing, is "crossbreeding" good with mushrooms? can I put one cambodian and 1 golden teacher jar into the same tub? I'm going to do 12 jars at once so I'll have 6 tubs. this makes me really motivated. I'll be growing it in a portable closet too so things should stay clean while fruiting.

Read through these teks. No, you wouldn't inject more spores.

I know I wouldn't do it, but I'm asking to experiment with it.. to see if any different results come from it, because ill be doing 6 tubs so I think 1 experiment would be worth it if it grows more shrooms..
