Smelly (as in apple cider'ish smelly) and slowing jars.

1. Should I bank on the ones that smell like apple cider or just get rid of them?

2. Would it be worth birthing the ones that have seemed to stop growing mycelium? If so, should I grow them as cakes or case them at this point?

3. Should I even bank on cakes that aren't nice and fluffy?

4. Thanks for any tips.

You have baccilus sp? which is a common contam. Ditch it.

I kept mine and the fungus just kept growing until it was colonized. I'm going to case it and see what happens.
