I have a pressure cooker. I have a ton of rye grain. I have a ton of syringes. I have a ton of perlite. I have a little vermic. but will be getting more. I have a ton of distilled water. And about a hundred mason jars. my prob. is that i cant get anything to work inside the mason jars. I was doing the simmer thing but after the grain is done simmering i dont know how much water to add before cooking in the mason jars. and ever time I have done it I did it will mycelium from a an ager plate i put in the jars and after a week all i have is a couple colonized grains attached to the mycelium that i droped in there. and nothing changed after a month. I have alot of these agar plates and that seems to be the only thing i am good at. beyond that i dont know what my prob. is. can any one give me their personal prefferances on a water cont. after simmering. does it help to put vermic. or perlite in substraight. Would it help if i added a little rye flour or brown rice flour. just please someone help me ill be your best friend.

tyvek is a HDPE (high density poly propylene) product thats uesd as a vapor barier in houses, the making of matress tags, and rip resistant envelopes... it is breatheable enought to allow for gas exchange and still prevent contamination from entering

Yes. You need to find the post by Magash entitled "Rye" he has pictures and a step by step tek. It's either on page one or two most likly of the forum, its a big thread but the tek is the first post and all you really need. You don't seem to be following anything or have much of an idea of what your doing and this will help you greatly (like you don't add water after they are simmered you strain them and load them into the jars once strained well then pressure cook for 1 hour at 15PSI and let them cool overnight and I hope you soaked the grain before simmering) If you want to know more find the post
