I found these odd specimens in my garden just now. Caps: Slightly brown-tinged grey, uneven and somewhat squashed. On the older specimen, the greyness is flaking away to show white underneath. The edges are serrated and very wavy. 20-40mm wide at widest point, 15-25mm wide at the thinnest point. Gills: Dirty white, uneven like the cap. Stem: White, also somewhat squashed. Approx 10mm wide at widest, 6mm at thinnest. 23-30mm long. Grooves follow the stem all the way to the base. The whole mushroom smells somewhat musky or mouldy.
