Everything is as it should be
    #3192105 - 09/28/04 05:32 PM (12 years, 6 months ago)

Is this statement true?? Whenever I'm tripping or smoking I feel as though everything exists exactly as it was meant to. The gum wrapper on the floor was MEANT to be there, at that exact point in time. I am MEANT to be exactly where I am now.

Do you agree with this?

Sure.

I mean, I don't believe in fate. but I think that everything is always how it should be. Otherwise it wouldn't be able to become what it shouldn't be. Hard to explain, but at least I know what I'm talking about.

In conclusion, everything IS at it should be, because it IS (as in it exists). Everything is always as it should be. Not in the sense that everything is in your favor, but everything is as it should be in a universal perspective.

I completely agree  I think that all things happen for a reason, and that all things are as they were meant to be for our overall good as God intends  :sun:

When the illusion of a world of separate "things" starts to break down, everything seems perfect as it is because you see it all as one. The judgements of "good" and "bad" that, after all, exist only in your mind, dissolve. You no longer cling to an idea of a better world to compare the real world to. It is a wonderful place to be. Very, very peaceful. In that space it's as if my words come directly from the core of my being without being twisted or distorted by the craving and aversion of ego games. And the well spring of love and compassion nourishes everything. Very cool. Beyond cool. Divine.

You have reminded me that I need to go there again! Thanks!

KS

One time I was having lunch with a guy who wanted to come work for the firm I was with, so it was like an informal job interview, and I asked the guy "why is it that when you are walking in the forest and you see a patch of bright color in the grass, you get all excited until you walk over and find out it is a piece of plastic or a candy wrapper rather than a flower?" He said "that's a stupid question". I said "the fact that you think it is a stupid question makes it even more interesting to me".

So, why?

That is my biggest problem.  Sometimes I DO know that, when I am meditating or communing with the Psychedelic Gods, but often I get caught in the trap of negative thinking and become really upset at the immense amount of suffering in our world.

I get very depressed that people can treat each other and our Earth in the way that they do, and think "it doesn't have to be this way, it's not supposed to be this way......this is just straight up  WRONG".......it just kills me how awful and ignorant and brainwashed and hateful people are/behave.

So for me, it's a really thin line. But I do know that at the core of all is Love, and we just need to remember that and work our asses off to uncover it and set it free.
