lophophora growth
    #3191363 - 09/28/04 02:20 PM (13 years, 6 months ago)

hi folks!
i've been staring at my lophs for a while and noticed that the beautiful 5 ribs form doesn't shows up on their pups, they don't have defined ribs so i was wondering... are these mutated monstrosities? of course i'm talking about grafted specimens, on their own roots they seem to keep their form...
monstrose caused by excessive growth caused by graft?

I think most grafted growth shows a bit of mutation from overpowering em.

Yeah, I think it's cool, hehe...I'm actually trying to get some grafted specimens right now. I'll post pics if I do.

very similar. those cacti were grafted right before the break of the dormancy, i think this is the why of the growth burst...
