Enviro-tech question
    #3191168 - 09/28/04 01:13 PM (13 years, 21 days ago)

I recently ordered 4 enviro-tech grow bags and a Brazilian spore syringe. I have been told that an ideal temperature for colonization is about 88 degrees F. I purchased a heating pad and put it in the cabinet in which I will be growing. When the thermometer touches the pad it is at about 90 degrees but the rest of the cabinet is at about 86. The bags will be sitting on a pillow case, which the heating pad is under. Does this setup sound like it will work. The temperature it pretty close to ideal, I am just not sure it the bags will be too hot. Also, the cabinet is kinda small and the bags will not be fully extended upwards until fruting when the bags will be taken out of the cabinet. I have searched many sites and was unable to determine if this this setup will work. Any suggestion or input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

actualy 86 is a fine temperature to incubate at, you may want to
place the bags on top of somehting a little thicker than a pillow case

awesome, thanks. Is it okay for the top of the bags to be folded down a little during incubation?
