Lifespan Of Honey Water?

If a person was to mix up a jar of honey water to have mycelium liquid ready to use at anytime, how long would it last? Ive heard that it will only go for about a week before it runs out of nutrients from the honey but if a person was to let it get so far and then refrigirate it would it last longer?

If you refridgerate it would slow down the growth of the mycelium and preserve it against bacterial contaminants longer. 

I can see a world where this is no poverty and no war, I can also see us attacking that world because they would never expect it. :wink:
