is it possible (contaminated syringe?"
    #318934 - 05/16/01 09:42 PM (23 years, 4 months ago)

A FOAF innoculated a couple of "test" jars. One was almost 100% (one little line to go), smelt fine the day before, and then contaminted the next day. Is it possible the syringe this later into colonization? Or could it have been something else?

I would say no about the syringe being dirty because if it was the syringe mold and bacteria grow faster than mycelium

remember, behind every great fortune there is an even greater crime

couldn't of been the syringe.  If you were using a vermiculite seal it may not have been thick enough. Or some other way your jar wasn't sealed properly.

I can see a world where this is no poverty and no war, I can also see us attacking that world because they would never expect it.
