Compact Flourescent Lighting. Think your long shop lights (40w or whatever) compressed into a normal sized light bulb that goes in a socket. CFLs vary in wattage and save energy. They are cheap as hell too at Wal-Mart. One could put 4 CFLs on each side of those lights at the top and bush out their plants and have much more potent buds. Someone I knew mounted them in an adjustable way to the walls in a horizontal line and let their plants grow at an angle below the shoplight pair and toward the CFLs. They just adjusted the CFLs as the plants grew.

i'd say it's better than nothing...
but it's definitely not the right stuff.
You want something that's like 30-15-15 or something like that.

Im noticing on the new pairs of leaves, on both plants, one of the sets of five leaves are devoloping nicely, while the other set of 5 leaves is stunted in growth, and not fully developed.
Also, the food were these spike things, I put 3 of em in each jar.

umm that's probably a lot feeding in from those spikes, especially a lot of P-K that's not necessarily needed in such high quantities.
Get some different fertilizer with more N and don't flood them with fertilizer. some good but more is not always better.

Dude. I moved my plant into a bigger pot, a small trssh can last night, because overgrow told me my plant was overwatered. So I came home today and the leaves are all wilted and limp. It no longer looks like a big healthy plant, but a lil frial limp thing. Was it because I moved it? what do I do??!

if you moved it and then it wilted prob needs water if you water it check back in bout 1/2hr if it stands back up than that was your problem but adding wet soil to dry soil will cause things to wilt . i wouldn't use the spikes just use your basic 10-10-10 or 20-20-20 if you want more detailed instructions then just pm me .

When you transplanted did you notice the color of the roots? They should be nice and white. If they're brown or worse then the plant has been overwatered.
It's also nice to add some Superthrive when you transplant to help with any shock.

You're waisting your time.
Learn how to grow marijuana and buy a dicent light.
This is going to come down to you saying "Dudes, why isn't my fucking plant getting bigger, wheres the bud? WTF WTF?!?!"
You will also get in the same amount of legal trouble for a couple of shitty plants that would never produce buds as you would for a couple six foot tall fully mature female plants, consider that.

Plant new seeds from good weed and start them uner your floros. Plug the HPS in the wall and turn it on them after they get to be about six inxhes tall.

Where did you buy this light? Do you have a link to it?
The one I have has a seperate ballast that plugs straight into the outlet. The light then has a 15ft cord that plugs into the ballast.
Don't mess around with electrical wiring if you have no idea what you're doing. Nothing worse than cops to show up for a fire or smoke and find plants (well there might be worse things).

Good luck, to make that suitable for growing herb takes some electrical know how, I wouldn't risk it. i.e. zaping myself/ buring my house down.
