ringless honeys?

a. found at the base of a tree
b. white gills attatched
c.cap is 2 mm stem is 8
d.stems are solid and thick
e. cap is a sandy orange getting darker in the center
f. white spore print
g. bruises a darker brown
h. does not smell too delicious.. but i wanna eat some.. it would be my first time weee .. thanks

Those look right. Be sure you cook them thoroughly and only eat a small amount (less than a teaspoon) the first time. Wait overnight. If you don't get sick, then go for it.

Honey Mushrooms cause a lot of reactions in people even though they are edible. Save some uncooked in your refrigerator while you wait to be sure you won't get sick. If you get sick, you have voucher specimens to show what you ate.

Saute them until they are thoroughly cooked. Undercooked Honey Mushrooms are poisonous, causing nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. How long you need to cook them depends on how many of them you cook, how hot your're cooking them at, and piles of other things. If you overcook them, they eventually become crunchy. I like some mushrooms (the less strongly flavored ones) cooked that way.
