VERY blue subbs

Picked about 60 grams of wet/dried subbs today in a few of my fav. spots, and I've never seen them bruise blue like this. I have blurry pics so you may not be able to tell. But I swear on a few clusters I pulled up from the sh*t the whole entire stem was blue. Theres loads of pins where I scored these so I;m going back on wendsday.

After I began drying these paticular subbs....the caps started turning blue too. Not the shiny black/blue thats there when theres a cluster of em and spores cover the tops of the smaller ones, But a stained blue that I've only seen happen to roughly 3 or 4 subbs I've picked all summer and I've been picking HUNDREDS. Just thought I'd share this info and was wondering does that mean these are really potent or anything?

take some prints! I tried making jars from subb prints I made. The jars were completely colonized, but were attacked by green mold. you may want to give it a try, as subbs are beautiful. if not, I'm sure others would be interested.

How would I go about doing that. Heres how a percieve doing tell me if I'm missing anything. Take prints. Scrape prints into shot of rubbing alcohol?? or water??..then put in decontaminated syringe. then take jar with rice cake inside thats been boiled to ensure decontamination and innoculate it 4 times tape up the holes and let em go? Anything else I should need/know

I apologize if this is straying too far from hunting, but anyway: Here's what I did. I think that I ran into trouble with mold because I kept the fully colonized jars around for too long (I should have refrigerated them to keep them longer without birthing). I printed them directly on to aluminum foil. Then I carefully disinfected the foil surrounding the spores with rubbing alcohol, wiped that clean with cooled water that I had boiled. Then I sort of made a little bowl with the foil with the spores, then shot in some of the sterile water from a syringe to loosen up the spores and then sucked them back in (you may need to scrape around a bit too). you don't need a huge volume of spores to be successful. For the rest, just follow a Tek for cakes. They were pretty fast, and the mycelium is much thinner and rhizomorphic than cubes I have encountered. Good luck! T

Well I suppose it cant hurt to try...those subbs in that picture; however, are already practically dry. Wendsday I'm venture back to my massive shit pile to collect the insane amount of pins I saw yesterday which are bound to be mighty nice by now so I'll print those on the tin foil. Should I disinfect the tin foil with rubbing alcohol first then with disinfected cool water and then drop spores and once theyre dropped disinfect outside of the sporeprint once again? Also if I get a brand new needle does that mean it's disinfected or do I have to do something to it. I really thank you for your help and I know this isn't really about hunting. Someone could still tell me however if the blueing on subbs means more potency because I'm curious. The ones I find at my other spot rarely bruise but this spot seems to produce quite blue ones. Thanks again

Well if I put them on white paper (which I believe I took some prints a few months back and have them over at my g/fs house) then how do I sterilize them to get them in the needle?

Thanks a bunch. Tomorrow I'm when I get my next batch I'll take loads of prints. I figure I'll just rub aluminum foil with rubbing alcohol and then steril water and take the print on that and put it in a zip lock. Since I'm not really sure as to how I'd sterilize the paper I'd put a print on. It'd be nice if I could get the hang of it as the season for subbs is dying and I've only found 4 laughing gyms so far.
