Back from a hunt

Alright me and my little cousin were off to "aquire" a stopsign today and while we were walking in between of these warehouses, i noticed alot of mushrooms growing so I carefully picked them and brough them back to my house. The cap is a very light brown and is 6-13mm wide, the stems are around 60mm long and the gills are a dark brown,almost black.There is a raised point at the top of the cap and it is dark brown. The mushrooms were found growing near each other in grass that was mowed about a week and a half ago.A slight blueing occurs when the stem is taken from the cap.

-Any sort of i.d. would be nice, I will put in pics when i get my digital camera fixed.

it sounds like u looked up the grow environment of psylocybe semilanceata and decided to post a ID without a picture and next thing u kno ur gonna say its a purple brown spore print.


sorry if this is legit and im flaming you for no reason, but i doubt that.

The sporeprint was almost jetblack, I'm still trying to get pics but i fried my digital camera at a party when this jackass spilled Jack Daniels all over it.

Whats your loc. ? Is the blueing on most of the stem, or just the base? Also more information on the stem would be helpful.

Semilanceata are not a posibility anymore, and they are not usually found in lawns.

I live in Howard County, Maryland. The stem was very thin, and brittle. It was hollow and white.

On the website, SporeBank.com they have spores to a mushroom that looks almost exactly like the ones I got out of the yard. They're called Grass Rot Mushrooms on Sporebank.com
