Weird findings...
    #3184019 - 09/26/04 09:17 PM (19 years, 6 months ago)

Today i open my cased rubbermaid and i find some flys. I dont know how they got in there but it didnt happen to my other rubbermaids. There are no shrooms growing at this time but the casing layer has been on colonized compost for 4 days.
Any advice. Can i get rid of them? Is this casing lost? Nothing looks any different from when i saw it last except for the mycelium breaking through. Please help thanks!!

Also i believe them to be fruit flys and not fungus knats because i live near a fruit market.

Spray the outside walls with lysol and/ or H2O2...should help kill off the flies.
