 GETTING A NEW CAMRA, WHAT DO YOU USE?

im looking for a new 35mm camera . I love taking pics and would like to spend around 300 dollars . It would be nice to get something that i could upgrade the lense and shit later . what are you guys shooting with and whats the best bang for my buck?

I looked at a Canon Rebel TI 35 mm SLR Camera at wal-mart for 278 does anyone have one of these? if so are you happy?

Opps.......anyway, if you dont want a digi I dont know what to say.
But if you did want one........I would say Cannon Powershot a60, its cheap and the quality of the pictures is awsome.

For many, many years I have used a 70's vintage "Canon AE-1 Program".
I love this camera. If you want to shoot film you can't go wrong with old Canon stuff.
Check out camera shops that carry used equipment and they're bound to have some.
Try to find a reputable shop that won't try to rip you off or sell you some junk.
But remember, you have to be willing to work at it a little more with older
equipment. You won't find as many features to make taking nice photos an easy
thing (stuff like auto-focusing and auto-metering)

I'm currently shooting with a Cannon Ti Rebel. I had a job shooting pictures for a kitchen supply catalogue and the rebel worked fine for that, until I quit cause my boss was a god damn maniac Now I'm just shooting b/w art photos and in a few weeks I'll be taking my portfolio down to a few art schools and gallery operators. Enough of my rant.
If you look on some refurbishing websites you should be able to get a brand new rebel with a lens for $200-$250.
