That looks like con trails (water vapor) to me. As you can see from the pictures its just water vapor coming from the jet engines. Burning hydrocarbons (ie. jet fuel) produces carbon dioxide and water. The water condenses in the cold air producing the trails shown in the picture. If it was chemicals then they would not be coming out of the engines.

Look like ordinary contrails to me. The test samples were taken from the ground also. That doesn't conclude that they originated from jet exhaust. Can anyone confirm or deny that barium or aluminum particulate is found in any type of jet exhaust?

Obviously, the ones who believe this conspiracy theory don't know much chemistry. I can tell from looking at the trails that it is all water vapor. If any barium or aluminum compounds were in the trails then you would see the chemicals falling from the trails because barium and aluminum compounds are a lot heavier than water vapor, but instead you see the trails hanging in the air, therefore its obviously, water vapor.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think contrails are supposed to stick around for hours after being deposited..

Contrails are composed of the same thing as clouds: water vapor. That is why they 'stick around' for hours afterwards, and sometimes they don't. If conditions are right for cloud formation, contrails will linger and spread out to form a type of cloud. More water vapor will collect around it to form more clouds, et cetera. The only days when contrails don't linger in the air, you'll notice there are also no clouds in the sky at all.

Its called chaff, its not a malfunction and it is not "unknown" chemicals. It is strips of glass fiber with metal content cut into various lengths that are used to reflect electromagnetic energy as a radar countermeasure. I really do not see this as much of an inhalation danger.
