I got a question for you all:

How come the directions of Invitro Tek tell you to shed light on the jars from thwe get-go, but PF Tek says to keep the jars in complete darkness? Whenever I tried putting my jars in light right after innoculation no mycelium ever grew, so I transfered the jars into complete darkness after 2 weeks and then they started growing within 3 days.

If you put the jars in the light during incubation then when you're ready to fruit you lose your one trigger for pinning. It won't stop myc from growing though.

So if I am exposing a jar to 12 hours of indirect sunlight a day from the second I innoculate, it will still pin?

Invitro Tek is when you grow shrooms in the jar why any one would do this is beyond any of my knowlage and that is why you use light pf tek you dont grow in the jars you then grow off the cakes another thing i have yet to understand why this was ever brought to the mainstream

Because growing invitro saves my ass time, thats why. And your answer didn't explain anything pertaining to my question

Invetro is about as stelth as you can get.Doesn't matter if its for stelth are perferred method.Do what works for you.A good buzz is a good buzz.

it should... but it would pin quicker if you kept it in the dark until fully colonized :shocked:
