I have a cat, but she's not overluy curious and I've never seen her around my terrarium. However, she jumps onto my kitchen counter a lot to get into the window so I have to be vigilant about keeping the counter clean

cat paws + litter box = contams

While I was in Boy Scouts, I was told by a scout master that if you had a cut on your finger and it was bleeding, that it was better that a Dog licked it than if you stuck it in your mouth..

I have heard the same thing. I imagine it would depend on the human, and the dog...

I have 2 cats and a dog. No real problems here, but none of them are allowed into the growing/work area. I can imagine I track quite a bit of their dander into there though. I have contamination every great while on a bad casing or petri, but nothing I would even consider a problem...

At least not anything I can attribute to the animals instead of something I had done wrong...
