ok, i plan on doing ayahuasca soon.
Im going to be using Syrian Rue and Mimosa Hostilis
i read someones preperation report, and his measurements sounded pretty right.
his measurements were:
3g Rue
15g Mimosa Hostilis
so Im guessing thats for one dose, right?
well, this preperation thing on erowid reccommends 20gs Mimosa
so if i were making three doses of it i would have
9g Rue
60g Mimosa Hostilis
Is that right?
Would that be three good doses?
And what kind of experience would that be?
Im looking for a pretty moderate to slightly hefty experience.
And I should simmer them separately right?
The Rue for what? like half an hour or so?
And the Mimosa for maybe about 45 minutes?
And drink the Rue concoction 30-40 minutes before the Mimosa concoction?
Would this Recipe work well?
If Im on the wrong track, please help me out

eat the rue first, half hour before its time to down the aya.
read the third tek in the aya three preperations at erowid. youll see what im talking about

i would use 5 or 6 grams of rue instead (i'm a hard mao type).

3-4 grams of rue has always been more than enough for me. My usual mimosa dose is 10 grams. That amount has always been wonderful. Just make sure you have patience and do the extraction the right way, with enough acidity, three times, and then reduce. VERY potent stuff.

10 grams? i dunno... the amount of mimosa never seems like a straight anwser. how much should I use?
10g? 20g?
this can be fucking confusing at times.
and so should I just eat the seeds without brewing them?
I hate eating those damn seeds.

I think 8-12 grams of good mimosa is good. But if it's not good I heard 20g is good. You can brew the seeds in with the brew but I rather take the syrian rue before so it can take effect. Just put the seeds in your mouth and drink it down with water or soda. Better then making a bitter tea thats harder to get down.

I use seed powder. I put it in 00 caps. Each cap holds roughly 1/2 gram. I take 3 caps, wait 15 minutes, take 3-4 more, wait 45 minutes and drink my mimosa tea. I usually purge within an hour of the tea, but once that's out of the way, its smooth sailing. Rue plus mushies always makes me purge too.

would it be possible to reduce the brew until it is a semi solid sluge and put that into gelcaps for either the rue or mimosa?

Whether or not that is going to be a sufficient dose depends on the amount of DMT in your particular root-bark, and how much of that DMT ends up in the final beverage that you are drinking. Pulverizing the root-bark and using water that is acidic will help the alkaloids migrate from the plant matter into the water.
