i hope nothing i say will sway a persons vote because if it does i don't think that person should be voting anyway because they are easily persuaded....but what are you doing to change what is going on...all i'm saying is bitching about the opportunities and freedoms we have over here compared to elsewhere...pathetic in my opinion...talking to people from other countries....i cherish every single thing i have, good and bad, over here and to listen to people complain without acknowleging the good that is brought along...irritates me...yes there will always be bad with everything that comes along...find me a presidency that has not happened with given the circumstances...

I'll tell you what I'm doing: I'm voting for the only pro-freedom candidate on the ballot. The fact that we have more freedom than most countries is no excuse for taking it away. And frankly, any president that is as much of a hawk as Bush is much more likely to take away freedoms in the name of security. War has ALWAYS been used as an excuse to suppress dissent. As for what else I'm planning to do to fight for freedom...I plan on buying a firearm pretty soon here. I'm prepared to fight and die for my freedom if necessary, and so should every American. They just need to realize that the real threat to our freedom is not some Iraqis halfway around the world, but rather our own government.

It's our duty as citizens to scrutinize and criticize our government CONSTANTLY! Our government is our servant. And when it isn't doing what it is supposed to do - protect our freedom - then it needs to be taken out behind the woodshed and whipped good.
And neither Bush in his four years in the White House, nor Kerry during his three terms in the Senate, has raised a finger to restore the lost freedom in this country or bring sense back to our foreign policy.
They both suck. Special interest puppets. Grumble grumble

Nothing works better than propoganda.
Truth be told the USA has a perfect example of how 'tough love' works. Look at Israel and Palastine, they sure get along great with all that tough love approach. Damn evil doers, why won't they love me even though I kill them?
You want a leader in power who is loathed in the world? You actually truly believe that democrats will be weak on defending your country? Thats nonsense.
Every American wants to be safe, democrats and republicans will both protect you. The question is which will make your future safer?
Sorry but the guy creating more hatred and thus more muslims willing to kill you is not the guy I'd vote for. But hey it sure feels good to drop bombs
Tough love worked for Vietnam too dont forget
Oh and Iraq will eventually become a theocracy, so all those brave soldiers died needlessly to create a new Iran

Hey man, why dont you just give a personal example of how your freedom has been infringed upon? You are manking a good case. Dont get me wrong I am not trying to call you out. Just give the specific personal experience where your freedoms were ripped from you during the Bush administration and describe how it affected you. If you can tell that, I am not saying you cant, it would close your argument. You have a lot of anger, I want to hear where it comes from. I an independent so I am not taking sides in this argument.

Ya. Minding our own business.
take your own advice then and quit the bitchin'...like i said before you have a choice...you can mind your own buisness and take advantage of the freedoms you have already been given...you can move somewhere you feel fits your so called 'ideal' situation....how bout you make a choice...right now you're makin' a choice to stay here and bein' taken advantage of...so what's that sayin' about your so called ideals
either that or sit down and talk to someone who's actually involved in the situation or someone from a different country who has an outside point of view...learn a different perspective instead of complaing and doing nothing...you'll learn something as i have and what is a fraction for the support for my views....

In case you hadn't noticed, I live in this country, so my freedom IS my business. And don't give me that bullshit about moving to another country. I already debunked that shit.

well then give your personal example that your personal freedoms have been infringed upon...how is your life so freakin' bad...i'd like you to compare your life and what you have...to someone else that doesn't have the same opportunities...
