Hello, shroom-friends.
My first cake started to pin which is grrreat! 20 mushie-brothers on one single cake and some more are making their
way out. My thanks goes to of you who helped me and the whole Shroomery, especially to Ryche Hawk for the wonderful spore print he's sent me.
One more question: the largest pins are about one inch long now and I noticed some white specks on their caps. Is this not mycelial growth as a result of a too high humidity?

if you get a humidity gauge, you can monitor such things... ;-) but, i would't worry about the white specks, if the mushrooms themselves seem to be growing well.
