The mushrooms seem to have just fruited and look like they are babies to my knoledge. I plucked a baby one and it was about 3-4 inches in height with maybe a diameter of half an inch for the cap. Its a dark brown on the ends of the caps and go up to a light brown on the top of the cap. The stems are fairly large for the caps. I suspect them to be Pan Subs but I want to make 100 % sure. I live in Maryland and only Pan Subbs grow here from what I've heard. The gills are a brownish color. Here are some pics, I found them in some mulch in my flower bed. Can anyone Identify them? heres a pic of one of them. Heres one in half.
