Why do people act like they are being FORCED to read stuff here?

I know that I pick and choose for myself what posts I click on and what posters I prefer to read. Doesn't everyone have this choice or are some of you bound and gagged at gun point to read specific posts here? That might change things to know this.

Why do people act like they are being told to beleive everything that is simply put out there for the consideration of others who may be interested?

Is there a rule that says we have to beleive what others do?
I am not aware of this rule, if it exists, let me know.

I will choose my own beliefs regarding what gets posted here until further notice. I don't see any guns coming out of these posts forcing anyone into changing their beleifs.

Seriously, what's the psychology or philosophy behind these reactions?
