This is my first post and attempt to upload pictures. Sorry for the quality of my cell phone shots. I'll take any constructive criticism I can get, as I'm after Cyans. Took the dog for a walk and came up empty, but I but found LOTS these while I was in a large Seattle park.
Picture below: Interesting spot to for anything to grow. The log is not rotting much. These look like some sort of wood stunzi, and the spore print it chocolate purple. Found like 6 of them... But they have no ring on the stem and the stems don't bruise.
I have an image of the spore print, but I used up all my kilobytes figuring out how to upload images.
These were growing in grass. They are dark brown with blueing around the cap and have a black spore print.
Any imput from PNW wild shroom hunters and those familiar with cyan. habitat is greatly appreciated. I will verify everything before I eat four of anything.
your last pic doesn't have any blue bruising and is a species of coprinus. make sure you describe what you actually see rather than what you want to see, i.e. blue bruising.
second pic is too blurry for me to make a guess on what species it is, but it's definitely not stuntzii, psathyrella is a possible genus. the first pic needs a description if you want help ID'ing it, I can tell you it is not a psilocybe though.
