Checked some aumsville sites today... Proved some beautiful honeys! (There were many more but I love this picture)

Yes, ringed. Nah I don't eat them (they make some people sick), I just thought they looked cool and they smell really sweet.

they sure don't taste sweet, but tey sure taste good. when eaten cautiously at first, most people find they treat them well.

you can eat both ringed and non ringed honeys right

yes, though ringed honeys [A. mellea] are easier to id on sight.

i'm dissappointed that i haven't found any here since i moved.

Those look more like the usual Honey Mushrooms than your photo at the top of the thread.

interesting those pics were from my first few hunts.. im amazed at how many clusters of those i found in nj .. if i would have known sooner i might have had a big full belly =)
