    #3172616 - 09/24/04 12:04 AM (12 years, 5 months ago)

So for a finish Mycoguy and I rpesent the rest of some of the many shrooms we saw today.

Here is a gigantic mushroom:

Yes that was only a nickel on the cap of that shroom. Have asome more cool pictures of it from afar and co lose ups but today is already to many images to post.

and a view of the stalk and gills in hand:

Another medium sized shroom from mulch

And now for some beautiful Conocybe shrooms. Very beautiful color:

And two beautiful images of the three lavender shrooms with conical caps:

Known only as the "Shrooms of the Ring":

And now as i noted in the threads title:
The Great Spider Hammock in the Breeze.

It really was like a hammock. had a hard time getting a cool shot, but out of four iamges this is the cleanest of the four.

From Mj and Mycoguy and have a shroomy day.. Signing out until Subnday if you do not mind.

For those of you that have been wondering what the "pounds of shrooms" in the other post are, they are the above conocybes. We just thought it would be funny to lead you all on a bit.

Today was an interesting outing. Lots of mushrooms popping up everywhere.

We ran into another shroomer, where we found the above Lepiota rachodes. He had a bag full of large coprinus that he thought were actives. LoL. John set him straight though.

The kid started hyperventillating and almost passed out when John introduced himself.

D...if you're reading this, I'm just givin' ya some friendly b-s. We enjoyed chattin with you.

Yesterday was a nice day for a walk too.

Although all this sun is making me happy (summer's not over!) and nervous about my chances for a sucessful hunt this weekend.
