ya, those definitely look like pelliculosa...and of course that's the right habitat for pelliculosa...NOT! You're leaving it up to me to clue them in on what those shrooms are? I see how it is...I'm not catching that hot potato. I dunno guys, I must've not been paying attention. I didn't see that big patch. We've noticed that the mycellium has taken a pretty good hold in the alder mulch around the city. Hopefully it's cyan myc. We'll just have to wait a few weeks and see.

They are Conocybe species. There were several blocks of them growing in the drainage ditch for water runoff on the north side of Seattle. We are talking thousands of Conocybes. IT was a joke as Mycoguy said. I am amazed that peoplke identified them as baeos, pelliculosas and other shrooms. I never said what the shrooms were in the original post. but it shows how many people could pick a wrong shroom and that in itself is dangerous.
Mycoguy talked about the youg teenage we found carrying a bag of coprinus mushrooms. He thought they were magic shrooms.
He also showed us several areas with Galerinas saying he picked blue ringers and cyans where we were buit he did not know what he was doing. He even asked to buy a copy of my mushroom book for a quarter. Told us he was busted for magic shrooms. Anyway, This was a monsterous patch and that picture I posted, above of the Conocybes was but one house of about twenty houses on both sides of the street loaded with alder branches and had tens of thousands of shrooms for several blocks on both sides of the street.
And yes I put the second foto, as I mentioned in photodshops plastic wrap becasue I thought it looked pretty in plastic.

Hey! im an aussie for starters and i heard pelliculosas had a pink buff to em. so i guessed that. On the low down i dont know shit about PNW shrooms, just a bit about azures and cyans.
Plus with such a far shot and a plastic wrapped shot you cant expect someone to know what it is. So gimme a break please , as i can id the actives in my area.
Also when you say score, gives the impression you got actives.
