I made a little drying chamber that will dry my mushrooms in 1 - 2 hours with a little heat from below.
Its just an old cardboard box, quite shallow with a whole cut in the top and a 12volt Computer fan attached to that hole
ack i'll post a picture of it :-P

heres my drier ... The fan blows air out, I usually pop it above a warm heater and let it do its thing. and the results, Crispy Dry after a half day or so, but thats with a big de-humidifier behind it too ;D

nice. What is that thing in the center of the box? That hump thing?
I set mine up so it would suck air in, not out? Does it work better with the air being sucked out?
Nice setup.

The bump in the middle is just a little thing to seperate the floor into 2, since sometimes i've overlapped, it has no specific use :P
I made the fan blow out because I heat it gently from below and I figured that removing the air with any moisture would help drying quicker ??????? I've never tried it taking air in.

I just made a new drying chamber. It's a 5 gallon bucket w/ lid. Put dissicant in the bottom. I drilled 4 holes every 3 inches. Put plastic screws with nuts in the holes. Cut chicken wire fencing to fit the bucket and set on screws to make shelf, repeated for each shelf. Works pretty well. Everything for this was found at menards. I might be adding a small fan to the top also.
