Do you support religious leaders telling people who to vote for? Should churches be recieving tax funds?

My answer would be yes and no. Religious leaders should have freedom of speech but for no reason should churches recieve tax dollars. This would illiminate any conflict in the first place.

They have a right to tell anyone what they want to, I don't like it but they have just as much right to express their views as an aethiest does. Churches don't get tax funds (i believe), they do however qualify for exemptions.

Like Inny said, church leaders have freedom of speech just like the rest of us. And they don't get tax funds, but they are exempt from paying taxes. I once talked to my dad about why churches get tax exemptions, and he said that the power to tax is the power to control(too bad he didn't follow this to its logical conclusion).
