has anyone heard of a generation X strain? I found a post on alt.drugs.mushrooms, and found a post about it, this guy doesn't seem to know what he's talking about... any info?
(I really don't get the "monsters without cap part")

I have grow twice a strain of cubensis called generation X. The first
time i made a lot of spore syringes.
The problem is that this strain does?nt pining very well. Few shrooms
and a lot of monsters without cap.
Some one knows this strain?. If yes and if you have a good pining tell
me how.

Stay away from genX or Z strains ect. Use the Hawks eye, spore works, Pf, yadda yadda.............

Going crazy will drive you mad, but once you get there the rest is easy.....

There are several people out there selling strains under different names, usually with a hyped up sales pitch and prices...Search under the spore vendor section here at the shroomery or ask around, some spore sellers even answer posts from time to time.......
