Decided to go for a walk a few hours ago and ended up trucking through the woods, didn't find a lot of interest aside from the little brown fella below, although I'm not very interested in him. What I'm more curious about are the monsters with the purple gills. They were found on the walk back home growing from a very nicely groomed lawn. I'm pretty sure I've seen pictures posted of these before although the name completely eludes me.

Sorry about that, figured it would be relativly easy to ID. The cap and gill colors are obvious from the picture. The gills do not attach to the stem and descend roughly half an inch from the flesh of the cap, which is, by the way, white and very resilient. None of it seems to bruise easily and is almost completely scentless.

Your big mushrooms are Agaricus, but identification to species is quite a bit mroe difficult.
